WWDC 2011 passed by with no new phones released, and there have been rumors that the new iPhone will be out in the market sometime September. It all figures out if the iPhone 5 will be released sometime late September or early October, as confirmed by some rumors coming from a staff member in AT&T. There will be an Apple Special Event, which is scheduled to be on September 7. It has been noted that many Apple Events have unveiled various device upgrades and such. Just as the one happened in February 9, 2010 where a new iPod Touch, iPod Shuffle, and a redesigned iPod Nano was introduced, it is likely that the iPhone 5 will be presented on this year’s event.
For your update, the iPhone 5 will be coming out with a larger screen, likely 4.3 to 4.5 inches, may have a dual-core processor in support for the retina display, a larger RAM, an 8-megapixel camera at the rear, and most probably, a 2-megapixel cam on the front. Let’s wait for the show and see what happens.
