MEA Mobile Launches ZipPic for Apple’s iPhone & iPad 2

App developer MEA Mobile today announced the iPhone and iPad 2 release of its time saving picture utility ZipPic. “Sometimes you just want to take a quick picture and email it or share it on Facebook,” says Bruce Seymour, Managing Director of MEA Mobile.  “To do that before you would have to tap 12 buttons. With ZipPic you can so the same thing in 3.”

ZipPic streamlines the photo/video taking and sharing process. Users tap the ZipPic icon and are immediately presented with the camera view. Tapping anywhere on the screen snaps the picture or starts the video recording. The picture or video is then automatically put into an email and addressed to a preconfigured group of recipients or destinations. Users can configure the app to work with the leading social media sites including: Basecamp, Blogger, Box.net, DropBox, Facebook, Flickr, Go Daddy Photo, Posterous, Snapr, Tumblr, Twitter, PhotoBucket, YouTube, Vimeo, Windows Live, and WordPress.

“Most user’s are unaware they can post directly to their favorite sites such as Facebook through email,” adds Seymour. MEA Mobile has setup instructions for services on its website. Twitter and geo tag photo sharing site Snapr are supported natively.
