TRENDnet has this week announced the launch of their new TEW-692GR which is the first router capable of providing 450Mbps data transfers on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands.
The new router also brings with it one touch button security and Wi-Fi setup; simply press the WPS button on the TEW-692GR, and then press the WPS button on a compatible wireless adapter, the two devices will then automatically exchange information and connect.
“All other ’450? Dual Band routers on the market today only support 300 Mbps speeds on the 2.4 GHz band,” stated Pei Huang, President and CEO of TRENDnet. “TRENDnet continues to be the choice when building premium performance networks.”
The new TRENDnet TEW-692GR Router will be arriving towards the end of this month for a recommend retail price of $250.
