When Amazon pushed out their Cloud Drive service the problem was the service didn’t support the iOS platform; however the word is that Amazon Cloud Drive has now been updated to support Apple gear.
According to an article over on Phone Scoop, the guys over at Tech Crunch are reporting that if a user hits up Amazon’s Cloud Player via their Safari browser on the iPhone you’ll note that it does indeed work.
Amazon Cloud Drive enables users to store music on Amazon servers and play said music back through a desktop browser or the Android Amazon MP3 app, and now via iPhone Safari as well.
Apparently although iOS device users can stream music via the Safari browser on their iOS device via WiFi or 3G for free, music does still have to be uploaded via a destop rather than your iOS handset.
So any of our iOS toting readers going to be trying out Amazon Cloud Drive in the near future?
