LG has not really created much of full QWERTY sliders ever since most of its competitors have produced full QWERTY keypads for smartphones. LG is now joining the ball game with its Optimus Slider LS700 coming out from Sprint, also codenamed Gelato Q. Although there might be some minor tweaking with the concept or even later modifications added, it might look as close to the rendered version. Despite of the bragged feature, it can be pretty puzzling how the keypad will look like.
It surely will not have an additional LCD screen on the pad, as it proved a no-good show with T-Mobile’s retro looking QWERTY slider smartphone. The flow of the concept may take it as an Optimus Black with a slide, comparable to how N950 is close to N9. It is expected that the device may also be launched sometime in September, getting into the fiasco iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S launch date.
