Second tablet device from manufacturer now on sale nationwide, with prices slightly lower than its predecessor
The Apple iPad 2 has gone on sale in the UK, with the first devices being sold at 5pm today.
The iPad 2 is available from all networks except O2. It’s also available to buy at the Apple Store, Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U, PC World and John Lewis.
Apple announced the prices for the iPad 2 on Tuesday. All prices include VAT and are slightly lower than what the gadget’s predecessor the iPad was sold for when first launched last year.
The Wi-Fi only device will be available at a price of 399 for the 16GB model, 479 for the and 559 for the 64GB model.
The iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and 3G will be available for 499 for the 16GB version, 579 for the 32GB version and 659 for the 64GB version.
