Google’s Andy Rubin has just announced on Twitter that Google are now activating over half a million Android devices each day, and according to the Tweet, this is increasing by about 4.4% each week.
The news comes just over a month after Google announced that they were activating 400,00 Android devices per day, Google also announced back in may that they had hit 100 million Android devices activated, obviously this number will have increased quite a bit since thenAndroid continues to grow at an incredible pace, and we wonder how long it will take Google to reach 200 million Android devices activated and how long it will take Android to catch up with Apple’s iOS devices in terms of the number of devices in use.
