The iPhone faithful is no doubt aware that once iOS 4.3 hits it will offer the personal hotspot feature that has been touted as being able to connect up to five other devices, but apparently not all five devices can be connected over WiFi.
According to an article over on Ubergizmo by way of the Boy Genius Report and via Engadget, the personal hotspot in iOS 4.3 albeit allowing five connections it appears that only three will be able to connect via WiFi and the other two will connect via USB or Bluetooth.
The Engadget report also stated that AT&T will be limiting their iPhone personal hotspot feature to just three connections, although they are waiting confirmation on that from AT&T.
Personally I can’t really see an issue with just allowing three devices to connect to a personal hotspot, so it probably wont matter that much to the customer, but what do our readers think of this matter, is the ability to tether five devices via WiFi a big deal for you or are you happy with three?
