Distributor says customer consolidation responsible for sales growth which could land it hundreds of thousands of pounds this year
Fixed line and mobile distributor Nimans says it now considers its self to be a complete communications supplier following after announcing a 50 per cent increase in SIM free mobile phone sales.
Nimans says there has been a huge spike in orders for phones made by manufacturers like Doro and JCB which could net it “hundreds of thousands” of pounds as the year goes on.
The Manchester based company says the eagerness of its customers to consolidate their business by buying as many possible items from one source is predominately responsibly for the increase of sales.
The deceleration comes almost two years since Nimans began supplementing its fixed line income with the sale of mobile devices.
Nimans buyer Lee Fuller (pictured) said: “Nimans was once known as a traditional voice distributor but, we’re a complete communication supplier now – everything from systems and headsets to data and installation, network services, leasing and on-site maintenance.
“This broad-brush approach encapsulates the mobile arena where momentum is starting to build in a big way – all backed by a world class next day delivery operation.
“We expect this positive performance to continue throughout 2011 and beyond, as our excellent reputation for service and support gathers pace throughout the industry.”
