Sprint today announced a new mobile solutions enablement program with Motorola Solutions, enabling members of the Motorola PartnerEmpower Program to leverage Sprint’s best-in-class network, which will broaden Sprint’s portfolio of enterprise mobility solutions. With this new enhanced relationship, Sprint will become the newest carrier partner in the Motorola Carrier Advantage Program. Motorola PartnerEmpower participants will be able to leverage Sprint to drive end-to-end solutions including device staging, vertical applications, rollout support, and help desk services.

“This new program brings together the talents and resources of Motorola’s well-known PartnerEmpower Program to complement Sprint’s mobile networks, devices, and vertical industry solutions,” said John Dupree, Sprint senior vice president-Business. “Our customers will benefit from this unique opportunity to match these resources with a combination of 4G, 3G and IP capabilities that only Sprint can deliver today.”

Motorola Carrier Advantage Program also helps Sprint expand its business deeper into new vertical markets with thousands of new solution and integrator partners that will have expanded access to field service and sales, education, government, healthcare, and transportation and logistics. With Sprint mobile users can capture and share critical data in the field, and update back-end systems in real-time.

“Motorola welcomes Sprint into our Carrier Advantage Program. Not only will our PartnerEmpower channel members have additional business opportunities, but our customers will benefit from the strengths and expertise of Sprint,” said Mark Kroh, vice president of worldwide channels, Motorola Solutions.

Sprint and Motorola also selected Source, Inc., of Overland Park, Kan., as the preferred vendor for this new mobile solutions enablement program. Source will manage the enterprise mobility opportunities on behalf of the partners who are in the Motorola PartnerEmpower Program. Source, Inc., specializes in complex wireless solutions and deployments.
