I can here all the gasps of relief now that the official announcement of the release date for the HTC Thunderbolt on Verizon has finally been made letting everyone know they can expect to purchase the device as from tomorrow the 17th.
And according to an article over on Engadget, although the Big Red has made it clear they will be ditching unlimited smartphone data, it appears that when you snap up the Android 2.2 Froyo HTC Thunderbolt will come with unlimited LTE data.
However obviously there is no hard and fast guarantee how long owners of the HTC Thunderbolt will be allowed to keep their unlimited LTE data, but for the time being it does look like you’ll be able to enjoy it for a while, let’s just hope the battery is up to the job.
Here’s what was said in the PR…” With the ThunderBolt by HTC, customers will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan and a 4G LTE data package. Nationwide Talk plans begin at $39.99 monthly access and an unlimited 4G LTE data plan is $29.99 monthly access.”
So is everyone happy now that the HTC Thunderbolt has gone all official or has anyone simply moved on to another smartphone and no longer wants the Thunderbolt.
