Motorola has today confirmed it will be bringing the Droid PRO to Europe, as the Motorola PRO
The Android 2.2 device, with a QWERTY keyboard below a 3.1-inch multi-touch touchscreen display is optimised for business use, combining speed, security and productivity for consumers and businesses alike.
The Motorola PRO has a 1GHz processor and 2GB of internal memory for storing apps, plus a microSDHC card slot for cards upto 32GB. It also has a 3G mobile hotspot function to share a mobile data connection with up to five Wi-Fi devices, 5-megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash, QuickOffice and Adobe Flash 10.1.
Business users can also use VPN, while the device can be remotely wiped if lost or stolen.
An optional Motorola PRO desktop switches the device into a clock with weather display, and easy access to the alarm, music player and photo gallery.
