Samsung Mobile Singapore has inadvertently leaked AT&T’s version of the forthcoming Galaxy S II Android smartphone when posting an image of its optional multimedia dock on Facebook. AT&T and Samsung have yet to announce a version of the Galaxy S II, but recent leaks point to a late Summer launch, as the phone is currently being released in Asia and Europe.
The Galaxy S II is Samsung’s latest Android flagship with its new Super AMOLED plus display technology inside the 4.27-inch display, quadband GSM/EDGE, quadband HSPA at 21Mbps, dual-core Exynos 1GHz processor, GPS, Wi-Fi N and FM radio with RDS support. It will also feature an 8.0 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture, auto-focus and flash. The front facing camera is a 2.0 megapixel unit. DLNA for media sharing is also on board with a choice between 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage plus a microSD slot. The Galaxy S II will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and includes a suite of Samsung specific software, such as TouchWiz, Social Hub, Media Hub, Readers Hub, and Game Hub
