Long awaited Verizon’s version of iPhone was announced this month. This came up with as good news for those in areas of shoddy AT&T service, but definitely didn’t come at all as good news for AT&T themselves.
To add to the miseries, Verizon came forth to announce that they would be offering unlimited iPhone data for merely $30 a month-something AT&T had previously done away with. Luckily, if you started on the unlimited iPhone plan for AT&T you have been allowed to keep it but for those who made the decision to switch to the carrier’s tiered data plans have been out of luck in terms of switching back.
But, rumors have just surfaced today that say AT&T will be allowing those who switched to this tiered data plan to change back if they so choose. While it still needs to be confirmed, but seems like a good move on AT&T’s part to probably maintain any customers that would be flying the coop just to receive the unlimited data.
