HTC Desire HD Heading For India

Anyone in India who may be hanging on to grab the latest smartphone in the HTC Desire family, the Android 2.2 Froyo packing HTC Desire HD, you might like to know the device will be heading to Indian soil in the not too distant future.

According to an article over on Tech2, and by way of One India, the HTC Desire HD smartphone will arrive for the Indian masses “soon,” which basically means it could be virtually any time.

To jog your memory in case you have forgotten, the HTC Desire HD sports a 4.3 inch capacitive Super LCD touch screen, and 8 megapixel auto-focus camera with dual LED flash, 1GHz processor, Adreno 205 graphics processor, HTC Sense UI, Android 2.2 Froyo OS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 768 RAM, microSD expansion up to 32GB and a 3.5mm jack.

Apparently some stores in India are already listing the HTC Desire HD as in stock, however HTC has not yet announced to official launch of the device. Price wise the HTC Desire HD is expected to command a price tag of roughly Rs. 28000.

So it would appear that before too long the HTC Desire HD will release in India, so any of our Indian readers hoping to snap up the smartphone?
