TV tuner manufacturer Hauppage has announced a new streaming media box and USB TV tuner for Windows and iOS in the Broadway TV and the WinTV Aero-m respectively.
The Broadway TV is designed for use with the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch and features live TV streaming over WiFi or over the internet with a multi-format tuner that can tune both digital cable TV channels and ATSC over-the-air broadcast channels along with analog TV and additional on the fly compression for streaming. The Broadway TV will be available in six weeks for $199.99
The WinTV Aero-m is a USB receiver for PCs which will receive Mobile Digital TV broadcasts designed for mobile TV reception, as well as ATSC digital TV broadcasts for $69.99 with no launch date set.
