We told you it was coming, and now, we have its price. Wind Mobile has posted the pricing details of their upcoming BlackBerry Bold 980 on their website, and it’s better than expected.
They’ve made up for its delayed launch by bundling it with a very enticing price tag, $450 to be exact contract-free. That’s the cheapest price of any carrier for the latest BlackBerry Bold sans any contract. Rogers, Bell, and Telus all have their BlaclBerry Bold 9780 priced around the $499 price point on an outright purchase basis.
The BlackBerry Bold 9780 packs a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 512MB RAM, and runs on the BlackBerry 6 platform.
Sadly though, there’s still no definite release date yet for Wind Mobile’s newest RIM smartphone, but it should be happening soon.
