Apple Developing New, Smaller, Cheaper iPhone To Fight Android
We have our doubts about this one, but we also had our reservations about the Verizon iPhone, and look at it now. It’s reportedly a third smaller than the iPhone 4 and will cost just $200 unlocked. Too good, to be true? Maybe, but this has an equal chance of being true just like the whole CDMA iPhone rumor. They do note, though, that this little project “can still be scrapped.” Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we?

HTC Desire HD now available at TELUS
Telus has added a new handset to their line-up, the HTC Desire HD. Unlike the HD7, the Desire HD runs on Android. It boasts of a sizable 4.3-inch display, an 8-megapixel camera, WiFi hotspot capabilities, and a 1GHz processor running under the hood. This new Android phone is retailing for $149.99 on a 3-year contract basis or $499.99 sans contract.

Bell releases the HTC HD7 at $499.95 no-contract
There’s a new Windows Phone 7 device in town, and in goes by the name HTC HD7. Its powered by a 1GHz processor complemented by 576MB RAM, and features a 5-megapixel AF camera with dual-LED flash, surround sound, and a 1230mAh battery. It’s now available on Bell for as low as $99.95 on a 3-year contract or $499.95 outright purchase.

Facebook-centric INQ Cloud Touch and Cloud Q Android phones announced
There’s been much talk of Facebook phone made by HTC will be launching soon. Well, that’s exactly what we have today today, but it’s not from HTC. It’s from INQ, and take note, it’s not one, but two Facebook-centric handsets – the INQ Cloudh Touch and Cloud Q. Is this the Facebook phone that everyone’s been talking about? We don’t know for sure, but for now, this is as close to a Facebook phone we’ve got.
